THIS IS AN INSANE STAT:
Legendary #NFL quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski were nearly unstoppable together.
Brady had a 100 and 31 record when he played with Gronk during his career.
We will never see a better duo in professional sports history.
😱😱😱
A MIT professor gave a 1-hour lecture in 2019 that has 18 million views.
He died 5 months after recording it.
It was his final gift to the world.
Patrick Winston taught at MIT for 50 years.
The smartest engineers on earth sat in his classroom.
And he spent his last lecture teaching them the one skill their degrees never covered.
How to speak.
15 lessons that will change how you communicate forever:
Never open with a joke. Your audience is not ready to laugh yet. Open with a promise of what they will know by the end.
Your ideas are like your children. You are too close to them. What is obvious to you is invisible to everyone else. Explain the obvious.
The 5-minute rule: the first 5 minutes of any talk determine whether people will listen for the next 55. Spend more time on your opening than anything else.
Repeat your most important idea 3 times in 3 different ways. Once is never enough.
Build a fence around your idea. Tell people what it is NOT before you tell them what it IS.
Verbal punctuation. Pause. Let the idea land before moving to the next one.
Ask questions nobody will answer. Then wait 7 seconds. The silence is not awkward. It is processing.
Never read your slides. Your audience can read. They cannot listen and read simultaneously.
Use the board not the slides. Writing forces you to slow down. Slowing down forces clarity.
Inspire before you inform. Nobody learns from someone they are not inspired by.
End with a contribution not a summary. Tell them what you gave them. Not what you said.
Never say thank you at the end. It is weak. End with something that lands.
Stories make ideas stick. Data makes ideas understood. You need both. In that order.
The quality of your communication determines the quality of your ideas in the eyes of the world. Not the ideas themselves.
Practice is not preparation. Practice IS the skill.
Patrick Winston understood something most people spend their entire careers missing.
Your ideas are only as powerful as your ability to transfer them into someone else's mind.
You can be the smartest person in the room and be completely invisible.
Or you can master communication and make average ideas feel like breakthroughs.
He chose to spend his last lecture teaching this.
Watch it tonight.

🚨 SAVE LUCY: A Soldier Saved Her in War. Now She Faces Death Over a MINOR Complaint at Home
Lucy is an 11-year-old dog who survived the Middle East and was brought home by U.S. Army veteran Brendan Jones after they bonded during deployment.
She has been with his family for 10 years and has never spent a day away from them… until now.
Lucy is currently sitting in the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter in Edinburg, Virginia, facing possible e*thanasia.
She is sitting there confused and alone after a lifetime with the family who loves her.
A year ago, Lucy had a single incident while recovering from surgery, medicated, and wearing a cone. A jogger’s arm reached inside the cone, and she reacted with one defensive nip, then immediately let go. Even that person did not want to press charges.
After that, the county labeled Lucy a dangerous dog.
On April 17th in Strasburg, Lucy slipped out of her collar for a few seconds on her own property and barked at someone walking by. She did not attack anyone and never left the yard.
That was enough for her to be taken.
Now she is sitting in a cage after a lifetime with her family.
Lucy is not dangerous. She is a senior dog who deserves to spend her final years with the family who loves her.
📞 PLEASE TAKE ACTION - COURT DATE IS MAY 8

Today's Feelgood Story 🐶❤️.
When Sage the Labrador disappeared from her garden in a rural neighbourhood in the Santa Cruz Mountains in 2017, her devastated family held little hope of finding her alive. At 12 years old and completely blind, Sage wouldn’t cope well out in the wilds of California all alone. Nevertheless, the Cole family and their friends and neighbours keep searching for her, putting posters up and spreading her photographs on social media.
After Sage had been missing for seven full days, her family were slowly starting to accept that they may never see her again – and then something amazing happened.
Dan Estrada, a neighbour of the family, was out on a hike, and spotted Sage laying by a stream at base of a steep slope in the mud. He assumed the dog was dead; she looked completely lifeless. Nevertheless, he jumped into the stream to get her, and was shocked to see Sage lift up her head to him wearily!
Hero Dan even refused the $1000 reward Sage’s family had put up, insisting it be donated to a local animal rescue charity instead. Sage fully recovered.
Thank you for caring Dan 🙏.
