It would have been my Dad’s 80th birthday on Saturday I’ve always championed Leeds Dads having had a single parent Dad. He was always the only man on these kinds of walks! He used to lead walks for Gingerbread, the single parent association, & make us grumpily reccy them first!
Must say, I'm not a huge fan of the archaic ceremonial stuff but these troopers do a bloody good job for the tourist industry and public relations.

c1900 - Trying to find more information about this, the United Methodist Free Church. It later became a electrical warehouse, which had a fire in March 1988 and was later demolished. It would have been located off Roundhay Rd/Gathorne St - #Harehills, next to the old Gaiety Pub.
