Welp WC was a blast- US Soccer was can’t miss until Belgium came to town. I didn’t realistically expect us to win but I did expect us to at least try to be competitive. Not sure what the game plan was tonight but epic collapse is how it ended. Tough way to go out.

Soccer is not a sport played by athletes. It’s a sport played by actors. This sport could be great but all the exaggerated falls and dives and simulated injuries & flopping by the players in an effort to manipulate the ref ls into making calls is an absolute cancer to the sport.

The more I watch the more I realize this is why soccer isn’t bigger in the US. If basketball is bad (flopping) then soccer is as bad as it gets. Players are constantly rolling around on the ground looking for a freebie. It kills the flow of the game and makes it less entertaining

@ClayTravis NBA is a two pronged game anymore: shoot 3’s and flop. No defense. Grownass men acting like they were violently assaulted rolling around on the court in order to get to the charity stripe- and the refs seem to be dumb enough to fall for their acting. Unwatchable.
