Former Paris Saint-Germain player Aminata Diallo is to stand trial at the Versailles Criminal Court five years after an attack on her then team-mate Kheira Hamraoui.
Diallo, 31, has been charged with complicity in aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy. In a court order, seen by The Athletic, an investigating judge has now concluded there is sufficient evidence that Diallo instigated the attack on Hamraoui and should appear in court to decide if she is innocent or guilty. A date for the hearing has not yet been set.

One thing you have to give East African leaders credit for is how effectively they’ve convinced the rest of Africa that they’re working, to the point that locals seem ungrateful when they point out how performative they are.
