I want to thank you, @ScottAdamsSays, for sharing your walk home with us. I think it’s very important that you are letting us see you go through this. You are setting an example and showing courage and grace and resilience. It’s as instructive for others as it is brave of you. It’s just one of the reasons you are so important of a figure personally to me and publicly to the community. I hope you understand that. How a person handles the hardest challenges truly shows the measure of the man. It’s a profound honor for us for you to be sharing this with us.
There’s a before and after. As long as you’re in 2026 it will be kind of okay because you’re still in the same year that he was here. Moving into 2027 will be hard because you’ll feel like you’re moving on without him. But you’re going to be okay because you know that he wants you to live your life and move forward. Part of him will always be with you as long as you keep thinking about and talking about the best parts of him. Even some of the worst parts of him. My dad could be a pain in the ass, but I adored him. There’s no shame in saying “my dad always said” or “my dad would do this thing” to keep him a part of your life. It’s healthy. A couple years before my dad died, Chris Hardwick’s dad died. Chris was hosting The Walking Dead aftershow and also a podcast and he talked about his dad’s passing a fair bit. He called it “Dead Dad Club” which was irreverent but expressed exactly what it is. It’s like you gain a sudden understanding of the world that only people who have experienced that exact thing have. Nobody wants to join that club but once you’re part of it you understand something fundamental about everyone else in the club. It’s world changing and it changes who you are as a person. Life goes on like normal for everyone else, but your life has shattered and you are trying to understand what life is now, and it’s a big deal. But you’ll get through it and there are millions of people out here who get it. You’re doing great.
@scoopydont@AriHondaGrande@nickshirleyy No, it doesn’t. It tells you only that the birth date was missing. It doesn’t tell you why. You don’t even understand why you’re wrong.
Are the inmates in New Jersey prisons somehow less human than illegal aliens Kellee? They are the loved ones of Governor Sherrill’s constituents. The fathers, sons, brothers, sisters, moms and daughters of people who live in New Jersey. People who have spent their entire lives in New Jersey. Sometimes their families have been there for generations. Why should their well being matter less or not at all? And who spells Kelly that way anyway?
@tbonier@nickshirleyy That isn’t what he said. You are pretending to not understand the problem to excuse fraud which you would be screaming about if it benefited republicans.
But my point is - why was it missing? There’s a couple ways to find that out, and one way is to ask the voter. That’s the way he has access to without a lot of screwing around. Just because you don’t like the answer doesn’t mean it isn’t legit. Another way is to ask the people responsible for the voter registrations why her DOB was missing. Then when they refuse to answer because he’s Nick Shirley and also that takes time to investigate, he can ask the voter and the agency can respond by explaining why the DOB is missing. As someone who in jobs has had to look at data, find anomalies, and track down reasons why and where that may have occurred to address system issues, where I would start is where it looked weird, like where people were 126 years old. He’s doing obvious things that anyone could do to detect obvious fraud. It’s not a “narrative” if it’s true.
A good place to start is with records that contain information that doesn’t make sense. Maybe it’s a mistake, maybe it’s fraud. Maybe it’s due to a data migration issue. Maybe it’s because someone else filled out her voter registration form and didn’t fill in the birthday. You won’t know unless you ask.
Ask a question - Question: as a man here’s something I don’t understand about women and makeup…why do some women line their lips on the natural lip line and some women line their lips outside their natural lip line like you did here? I like your natural lips! Do you think there’s something wrong with your lips?
@bellapromote@AHomelyHouse Adjusting language adjusts perception, which you very well know which is why you all constantly demand everyone conform to your language preferences and get triggered by words. (Sorry for using a triggering word there)
@TheWilderNet@TiffaniMarie483 Same. I live right beside my mom and we share a lot that she doesn’t share with the others even though I know that my little 55 year old brother holds a special place in her heart. But also she has special connections with each of us like that. She’s a very good mom.
