In the council's consultation on scrapping Livable Streets, TfL were presented as being critical of the scheme when the complete opposite is true as this TfL letter now shows.

@TheCriticMag @CSaumarezSmith The headline image is not true to what that view is currently, so is it just an old photo or a render/photomontage? There's no caption or credit so it's hard to tell. Also the entrance to Whitechapel Station is on Whitechapel Road (unsurprisingly), not Mile End Road as stated.
