Otherwise you may not appreciate those b-lines. Artifacts are your friends in lung us.

I have found bilateral anterior chest to be highly accurate for acute pulmonary edema. Especially when paired clinically integrated.

But most lung ultrasound very clinical dependent.

But it can help you find the significant effusions and consolidated pneumonias.
