Today marks my last day with @TeamHISD . I’ve been with the district since 2015 when I started teaching at Wainwright ES under @caguirr1. For the last three years. I have worked as an intervention TDS in the North area. Next week I continue my career at Region 4 ESC. @HISD_IAT

@vrkimmel I can agree that Tier I must be strong; that will prevent such large numbers in need of intervention. However, when a student has learning gaps, especially when 2+ GL below, we must intervene at their level, Tier I (on GL) won’t fix the gaps, they’ll grow.
