This evening, I joined friends and family to condole with the Member of Parliament for Nyando, the Hon. Jared Okello, following the untimely transition of his beloved mother.
Visiting the family home in Karen, Nairobi, I conveyed my heartfelt condolences to Hon. Okello and his family during this profound moment of grief. The loss of a mother is a deep, foundational sorrow, yet we take comfort in the legacy of love, strength, and wisdom she leaves behind.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the entire family and the people of Nyando. May the Almighty grant them fortitude, and may her soul rest in eternal peace.

Wishing a very happy Eid to our Muslim community across the country!
This is a beautiful time to reflect on sacrifice, kindness, and the power of togetherness. Let’s use this celebration to lift each other up, reach out to those in need, and strengthen the bonds that unite us all.
May your Eid be filled with renewed faith, deeper connections, and prosperity for everyone.
You can't claim to support "youth protection" and then call the agreement that secures it "expired." 🛑 The Broad-Based Government is the engine; the MOU is the map. We are moving forward until every youth is safe and every promise is kept. 📍 #NoTurningBack#KenyaUnitied
#JKLIVE If Senator Methu no longer believes in the UDA, the only principled course of action is to resign his seat and seek a fresh mandate through the DCP.
ODM has no choice but look for someone who will speak true position of the party without giving their personal Opinion on national podiums...otherwise the current SG will continue to confuse both members and followers that there is a leadership struggle in the party which is not true position of the party... This is urgent
The position of Secretary General is one of stewardship, not individual control. The mandate is limited to administrative duties—organizing meetings and keeping records—and ensuring the public hears the party’s official position, not personal opinions. If the office no longer fits your ambitions,@edwinsifuna, it may be time to pass the mantle to those who can serve..
Wishing you a Merry Christmas,
