I enthusiastically welcomed it. Was sold on the higher percentage of right decisions so we could all go home knowing football justice had been done and we could concentrate on which player was crap instead.

But I was wrong. Woefully and completely wrong.

Waiting 5 minutes for a decision to be made alone means the system isn't fit for purpose. Why? Because I sat with TV producers who said everything would be wrapped up in 10-30 seconds. It has literally taken the spontaneous joy from the most important part of the game. A goal.

Then, one thing completely blindsided me and many others.

Subjectivity.

I thought there would be science and a nailed on guarantee of a successfully and universally accepted decision. How wrong we were. Instead, arbitrary lines are drawn that simply can't with any certainty say whether a player is offside or not. So a human in a portacabin, 200 miles away only does what the referee can do, make a best guess.

Likewise handballs, dives, any penalty decision to be honest. A subjective decision decided out of stadium allowing an increasingly small and poor refereeing pool a get out of jail free card. Instead of them making a shit decision and owning it, they just pass it on 200 miles away so 3 men in a portacabin can make a shit decision instead. Lunacy.

For the love of the game, let's go back to investing in getting more referees, respecting them so that they join the trade and don't feel constantly abused. In short, treat them like rugby referees. Ultimate respect.

Then, fuck VAR off, it's ruined the game, made it petty and chaotic, and taken that one ingredient that you simply can't replace, instantaneous joy.

As a player and fan I accepted a referee making a bad decision in a game in the same way I accepted fucking up a shot or pass. We're all human.

Let's get back to that, humans doing their best, everyone walks away from the ground accepting that and less unrealistic pressure put on officials to be perfect when perfection doesn't exist in any walk of life.

VAR stinks. A system designed to help is a massive hindrance and it's about time pundits, fans, players, referees, clubs put pressure on authorities to get rid of it. We only need goal line tech, the rest can and should be refer refereed by humans making their best judgement. A best judgement that was over 98% right( audited fact pre VAR).

Enough is enough, fuck it off.

Had a few messages over the last few weeks/month that our lovely ticket compliance officer Mike broadbent has been spending his days scrolling twitter, finding ppl tweeting their tickets for sale (at fv but most of the time much less). Cross checking if the account in question has ever contacted @ManCityHelp finding the supporter numbers via their DMs and issuing 6 month bans. This exact scenario has happened dozens of times im aware of.

Six years on from lockdown.

Restore Britain will quash all convictions for non-violent breaches of lockdown rules - nobody will have a criminal record for breaking insane laws that should never have been implemented.

We will refund fines, and the state will apologise. A line will be drawn.

Vast non-COVID medical harm directly caused by lockdown and fear messaging will be properly investigated. The truth will not be concealed any longer by an establishment complicit in the guilt.

We will tell the truth.

Life years lost will be how we measure lockdown's impact - demonstrating the horrific suffering that was inflicted on the young. Delayed diagnosis/missed treatment for cancer, heart attacks, everything.

The impact on children's development will be fairly and independently analysed. The results will be presented, to show the damage that lockdown did to millions of children. For ZERO benefit.

Targeted tax breaks will be introduced to industries still reeling from the impact.

Those who lost their jobs because they refused to take the COVID vaccine will also be properly compensated for financial loss and reputational damage.

A Restore Britain Government would apologise for vaccine mandates and passports.

That was morally repugnant - it would be formally accepted by Parliament.

Those who have lost their lives because of that will be recognised. The Vaccine Damage Payment scheme will be overhauled to actually deliver proper compensation to those affected today, and to the families of those who have lost loved ones.

It should always have been an entirely free choice for adults - no persuasion, no blackmail, no mandates. None of it. I hated it.

Those who implemented all of this will be investigated by a fully independent commission.

If they have been found to falsely manipulate and twist the evidence to push a damaging pro-lockdown agenda, they will go to prison.

If they were found to allow the injection of healthy young children with that vaccine, knowing the damage that would be caused? Prosecutions will follow.

To the many decent Reform voters who hold the same concerns…

A young man or woman making their way in life, out of university, with a reasonable job is getting taxed SO much - particularly including the student loan repayments. 9% of their income over a fairly low threshold. 9%! All to just feed the interest...

NI, income tax, student loan, council tax, VAT? Dividend and corporation tax, if they feel brave enough to start their own business. Ridiculous transport costs, especially on the trains into London. Madness.

Stamp duty, if they can get a deposit together... That's a big enough challenge in itself. Renting is brutal. Just burning money, paying someone else's mortgage off.

Meanwhile - wages stagnate, rents climb, and inflation eats what little disposable income they have left.

It's a scam. A total scam.

Britain punishes the people who do everything right. Study hard, work hard, pay their way. While rewarding a system that squanders their money and gives nothing back. Is it surprise so many are simply leaving Britain?

The welfare bill is suffocating productive Britain.

Why should young working Brits fund families who can't be bothered to work? All whilst they feel financially unprepared to have children themselves?

Let's ban foreigners from benefits, reinstate the two child cap, scrap interest on student loans, and eviscerate the welfare bill in order to slash tax for working Brits.
