Turned 30 today, so officially too old for any '30 under 30' lists. This is a hell of way to make up for it. Thanks @PharmaTimes for the award and shout out to the people I've learned from @LanglandLife and @HLMEDICOM. #stoked#ptcmoy
@rcsloggett Are we saying there might be a… leadership contest??? I, for one, look forward to seeing Harry Brook photographed going for a run in a Leeds United top tomorrow morning
@rcsloggett Agree completely. A potentially rich topic, ripe for debate. Unfortunately basically glossed over in this, which is a real shame given the inherent relationship between health and a number of the other critical topics he addresses in greater depth
Will be an incredible event, no doubt, and I’ll definitely be buying a ticket. It’s just a shame that Sarries is so difficult to get to via public transport. Would have loved to see it go to Crystal Palace now the refurb is under way. A throwback to the Golden League days. Maybe one for the future!
Watch the finish of Sabastian Sawe’s incredible new 1:59:30 marathon world record.
The two-time London champ covered 26.2 miles in 4:33 mile pace, including splitting 59:01 for his second half and running 4:16 pace from 40k to the finish.
@pnwprincess23 Took me a while to get round to reading this after I bookmarked it weeks ago. What a beautiful piece of writing that perfectly encapsulates the bittersweet nature of being ‘a runner’, even when you’re not running. I love your musings.
Final shakeout done before @Marathon_Mcr. Travelling up this PM with nerves and excitement in equal measure.
Any final tips for a sub-3 attempt?

This is the positioning question every CA leader needs to answer right now. Is your function indispensable because of what it produces? Or because of how it thinks?
Only one of those answers has a future.

There's a conversation happening in Corporate Affairs that no one's having out loud. Most CA teams are still operating on a 2019 model. Same deliverables. Same processes. Same instinct to prove value by volume of output. The world those deliverables are trying to influence has moved on. Our operating model largely hasn't.
To steal from Jeremy Irons in Margin Call (one of my favourite films); "there are three ways to make a living in this business: be first, be smarter, or cheat."
The CA teams that get ahead of this won't win by being the fastest. And using AI to simulate insight you haven't earned is just cheating with better tools.
The ones that win will be smarter--building an intelligence infrastructure that makes them anticipatory rather than reactive.
