One of the most memorable lines I can remember is from chernobyl where Legasov says "Every lie we tell incurs debt to the truth. Sooner or later this debt is paid" Brilliant, so I asked my AI if a lie is a debt to the truth, what is a white lie, it responded, "a loan"
Everything about this war seemed mistimed and misunderstood. The Iranians rose up at the wrong time, one of many reasons was the assumption the US would back them, Trump encouraged them indirectly, the Iranian people were put down gruesomely, they would not try this again. Then the US went in and bombed. We knew they had extensive underground networks and had spent decades preparing. I was expecting some new technology, maybe swarms of drones, thousands, watching cavernous areas where launchers could appear. Ultimately the launches could not be stopped, if Iran continued who knows what would be left of the Gulf states. Now what... this goes on for decades?
@AntonioTweets2 Back up a step, the US 51st state non sense ruined a decend lead by the liberal opposition in canada. The US interfered in middle of canadian elections, and this is the expected result, a weakened canada. America first, right.
@ianmiles If this comes out in court this guy could be the Artie Pascano of the government, as Sam "Ace" Rothstein says "I mean, Piscano, this guy basically sunk the whole world."

@vinnumbrr@business I don't read into articles much. I read intent. The moment I see something wanting my attention I think: 'Why am I reading this now?' After a while you see the signal through the noise so cleanly you sometimes forget the article itself.
@NoLimitGains We have a jetta, looks beautiful but something always wrong, the mechanics couldnt find costly engine issues until it was out of warranty, battery change costs almost $1k because of the "computer". Never again.
@Dave23536803@Vivek4real_ The market has broken most of them, ftx, 3ac, etc, but saylor is setup well. Would need to be something out of left field, buyout, lawsuit... or the Clarity Act fails and nothing else happens and the swamp smothers crypto.
This is how I would have posted this message:
SpaceX gained $100 billion in value in one day.
Europe should want a piece of that. Invite SpaceX to build hereβlaunch sites, factories, R&D. That means thousands of jobs, a stronger supply chain, and a real tax base, all on European soil.
Don't chase the growth away. Give it a reason to set up shop here.
@prose8888@charliebilello Agree but its so much more really, and honestly who wants to spend 6 months going to mars, not me, but there are amazing things we can do in space to make life better on earth.
