My opinion:

✅ IMPECABLE military operation
❌ BIZARRE political plan

- Assume we have not seen anything yet as to the viability of the transition. This has very low probability of flying as it was recklessly explained. Let’s see if this gets cleared up in the hours to come.
- Oil companies do not operate in a vacuum and we are years from significant volume increase. Regulations and contracts matter as U.S. oil companies are publicly traded companies with shareholders who will demand rational investment decisions.
- Counter to what @POTUS just stated, @MariaCorinaYA is the most respected politician in the country and @EdmundoGU is the President the majority Venezuelan voted for.
- Venezuela is broke and needy, but it is not about to surrender to absurd whims, even those of someone who has finally captured a man the U.S. has know for years was a narco and a threat to the region.

I genuinely hope @SecRubio and others clarify this unacceptable situation. The term “bizarre” doesn’t even begin to describe what we just heard.

Quizás la administración Trump reimponga las sanciones en el futuro. Pero estas sanciones se han levantado por una de dos razones: 1) D’Agostino está colaborando contra sus exsocios, o 2) el lobby petrolero y pro-Madurista convenció a Biden de que, callado y agachado, se le quiten las sanciones a una ficha tan importante como D’Agostino. En ambos casos D’Agostino tiene una cita con la justicia venezolana en el futuro.

Para siempre quedó “el partner” D’Agostino absolutamente RAYADO y descalificado como un soporte clave de la dictadura venezolana y el sindicato criminal que reprime a su pueblo.
