@RossDellenger@PeteSampson_@YahooSports This absolutely lowers the comp to athletes. Maybe congress still goes ahead with it but I think Democrats will take a serious look at this before it passes and I suspect this will trigger a push among athletes agents for full unionization to get around this arbitrary hard cap.
@allinkid Didn’t the eagles have a bottom 10 total offense ranking in 2025 (compared to Buffalo’s top 5) despite Philly having a vastly superior supporting cast ( WR, RB and OL all look better in Philly)?
If the QB wasn’t an issue in Philly last year, what do you think the problem was?
@Brett_McMurphy@On3 If they feel that way then ND will be forced to join the Big10 and probably setting off another waive of big 2 conference expansion. How does that benefit the ACC?
@datadomNY Little difference this season but I think better long term with Darche. He’s younger and more likely willing to learn from the deadline mistakes this year. Also, his cleaning up the mess in BPT was a good sign.
@ralphDrussoATH Do you really think baseball and NBA better off with everyone knowing all the salaries? Everyone’s performance is analyzed via that lenz. It might be inevitable, but I’d prefer not to have that type of visibility into what student athletes are making.
@domluszczyszyn Would be great to see these include some type of “strength factor” for these teams too. Some Isles have nearly 7X more chance to make the playoffs but less likely to win the cup then the Caps. Must be a gigantic gap between the teams driving such an extreme result in the model?
