Under the UK and Canada’s funding, a two-day workshop to advance the implementation of Viet Nam’s first National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security 2024 - 2030
The workshop welcomed 40 senior officials from Viet Nam Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to enhance comprehension in three areas: gender equality in the security sector, international cooperation in peacekeeping, and gender-responsive policing. The workshop determined solid actions, policies, and strategic objectives to formulate a specific draft delivery plan for MPS. It also reinforces Viet Nam’s dedication to inclusive security policies that empower women for sustainable peace.
The workshop was hosted by Viet Nam Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in collaboration with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in Ninh Binh (Viet Nam).
