@joeylynchy The City Vista decision was terrible by FV for 2 reasons.
1. It's geographically miles away from both teams supporter base.
2. VISTA has shocking sightlines to watch the game.
Millions wasted on a 'grandstand' that needs to be torn down and started all over again.
@LucyZelic Phenomenal response Lucy. You are extremely articulate and passionate about our game. You have the media profile to continue pushing these points across. Well done. 👏
@Victory_05@simonhill1894@aleaguemen I appreciate your sentiment and agree with you. Now let's imagine it's 2065, and you, your children and great grand children, are informed that Melbourne Victory, your club, will no longer be involved in a new league to make way for something more flashy, young and slick.
@simonhill1894@aleaguemen True. History is the time our grandparents took to build clubs from scratch in their local community, against the backdrop of an inherently racist mainstream media. The A- League, not the players, unfortunately, is a symbol of the disregard to our ethnic culture and history.
@simonhill1894@aleaguemen Hi Simon, the talent is our own, but the clubs are not. The football they play is entertaining and has significantly improved over the years, but the clubs hold no cultural or historical significance to many Australians. That's the fundamental flaw in the A-league in my opinion.
@joshparish_ The franchise is trying to put bums on seats and is using his profile to do so. That's it!!! Nothing more, nothing less. The first problem you pointed out is the MAJOR problem and that's why it's a terrible appointment, especially highlighted by Ange's success this week.
@wufcofficial Fan or not of the A-league, you got to appreciate the quality of this video. The storytelling, videography and editing is spot on. Brave.I love it.
