The footage of this Starship floating on the ocean is insane.

After Flight 13, the upper stage made a soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean, stayed completely intact, and just bobbed there with its cameras still rolling.

SpaceX called it the softest landing yet and the first time the ship survived in one piece like this.

This African yellow-billed hornbill looks like it’s being devoured alive… but it’s actually doing something totally intentional called “anting.”

Birds (and a few other animals) deliberately let ants crawl all over them, or even rub the ants into their feathers.
Why? The ants release formic acid and other chemicals that act as a natural pesticide, killing mites, lice, and other parasites.
It can also soothe itchy skin and help maintain feather health.

What looks horrifying is actually a clever survival strategy!
