@Singasinga74243@Kiplongu You don't need a complex machine just get a laptop with maybe 8ram and above . and an SSD is a plus.
Most of software development does not require an over powered machine. Anza na ile uko nayo and then upgrade as you progress.

you must believe you are special and then go so hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. you must wage a war daily against the ordinary outcome, until the belief you invented out of nothing in a room by yourself has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a claim and becomes reality.

I wonder who’s giving Waiyaki Way the idea that super apps are cool in this side of the world like they are in China.
Is it the guys who were making the clanker dance the other day?
I want a stupid simple Mpesa app that;
- Opens instantaneously
- Remembers my frequents.
- Biometrics actually make it faster to launch.
- helpful notifications.
- Maybe add OS level integrations like iMessage because that’s what separates that website they call an app from mobile apps.
- keep your green theme but follow the HIG designs on iOS and Material on Android. (Good UX comes from less friction)
The new thing is pain.
No one cares about most of the things Waiyaki Way offers. Ask a random person if they know there are games in the thing.
People want Mpesa that’s more convenient than STK and USSD.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but the only reliable app you have now is MySafaricom app. Don’t kill that. All my frequent bills are saved there.

If you ask, AI proponents will tell you that in the next decade or so we will have: ubiquitous transportation that drives itself with no human intervention; automated white-collar agentic services that program for us, make our spreadsheets, run our forecasts, and make better business decisions than we do; nuclear fusion reactors that cleanly power gigawatt decenters; autonomous humanoid robots that work in factories, do domestic work, and construct buildings; and centralized AGI that can self-improve and run civilization benevolently for the benefit of humanity.
Despite all that, if you ask them if they could figure out a way to pay the people who made the training data they are using to make all those things possible, they will tell you that - and that alone - is simply impossible.
@_lennoxomondi hey lennox I'd you'd don't mind me asking how you getting clients for your software development business? Share the secret sauce of you don't mind.
