A New Era! Commissioner Midori Valdivia spent her first day on the job listening to drivers and learning from their experiences. We want to hear from as many of you as we can and this is just the first step. Stay tuned.

Congratulations to Midori Valdivia, who today was confirmed as the next Commissioner and Chair of the Taxi and Limousine Commission by the City Council – bringing a new era to the 55-year-old agency that regulates the city’s taxi and for-hire vehicle industries.

Due to severe weather, all TLC offices are closed to the public on Monday, February 23rd. Appointments will be rescheduled. Impacted licensees will be contacted directly.
