To explore the effect of different parts of a surgical Blake drain, I tunnelled it into an ice cube tray filled with water.
Compartment (#7) has food coloring in it.
How will the compartments be evacuated?
Will the brown fluid make it to the canister?
Answers tomorrow...🧐

RULE OF THUMB!
To excise a circular skin lesion, an elliptical incision is made. The rule of thumb is that ‘an elliptical incision must be at least three times as long as it is wide’ for the wound to heal without tension.
How I do it: The Gea extracorporeal knot 🪢! This knot was created in Dr Manuel Gea Gonzales Hospital 🇲🇽 , is secure, the adjusting force is always controlled, limiting tissue damage; low cost and it can also be used in endoluminal and open procedures! #SoMe4Surgery@pferrada1
