Montgomery County Animal Services & Adoption Center is celebrating its 10th anniversary by reducing adoption fees to $10 until March 10!

Adoptions are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is required. @mcasac

Guinea pigs make wonderful pets. They're happy to live in a mansion, or an apartment, and are smart, friendly animals. Guinea pigs are tons of fun shoved in small packages.

Hammertime and Fuzz McFuzz are just two of nearly 40 small animals who are available for adoption!

These boys are very friendly, curious, and sweet! They love to run to the front of their cage and wheek for pets and fresh veggies when they see staff and volunteers coming.

MCASAC is currently facing a critical capacity situation. In an effort to address this pressing issue, we will be waiving adoption fees for the next 100 animals adopted through August 24th.

[1/3] This one is for the dogs, the cats & the humans. Investing in microgrids and resiliency hubs has already paid off. Less than one month into operation last November a nearby plane crash led to a power outage near the Montgomery County Airpark.

The Office of Animal Services executed a Search & Seizure Warrant in Silver Spring, MD. OAS removed 7 Maltese type dogs, 2 Shepherd type dogs, & 1 turtle. The dogs belonged to Carrie Seek who owned & operated Pampered Poodles, a pet grooming salon & commercial kennel (CONT BELOW)
