CM Gridiron | Sports Hall of Fame | 2026 Class Inductee | Mason McAteer | Collinsville Panthers
Presented By: Caroline’s Cafe
Congratulations to Collinsville’s Mason McAteer on being inducted into the 2026 Inaugural Class of the CM Gridiron Sports Hall of Fame.
A junior standout, Mason was named the 2025 CM Gridiron Offensive Player of the Year and earned All-State Honorable Mention honors after an impressive season at quarterback. He completed 149 of 212 passes for 2,679 yards and 28 touchdowns, while also rushing 133 times for 913 yards and adding 13 more touchdowns on the ground.
We have worked to confirm, but strongly believe Mason is the school’s all-time leading passer and single-season total yards record holder — a testament to the impact he’s had on the program.
Mason is also a three-sport athlete and continues to excel across multiple sports. On the basketball court, he was named to the Northeast Alabama Regional Tournament Team, adding to an already impressive list of accomplishments. He is also a standout on the baseball field.
Congratulations to Mason on this outstanding achievement and being part of the inaugural CM Gridiron Sports Hall of Fame class.
SS Mason Mcateer (@mcateer_mason - 2027) starts game two off with a bang, lacing a leadoff double. Continues to get good swings off out of the leadoff spot for @high_athletics. Later comes around to score on a wild pitch. Collinsville leads 1-0 B1
