So many obstacles put in @Wcorkconnect 's way by NTA that they gave up, so now people being left still at the bus stop, this time of year it's in #Kinsale they can't get on the bus.

It's disaster in Kinsale atm. Bus full every day leaving ppl behind waiting 1 hr for nxt one. Ppl missing flights/ apptmnts. 30 x 6th Yr students this year with L plates parking at local school learning to drive before college in September.

@CorkEnvForum You might be interested in our campaign in Kinsale to improve our woeful bus service which is sending people back into their cars or sending them down to the Credit Union to buy a car so that they don't have to put up with this 👇👇 every night trying to get home

@GreenPartyCSW @Marcoriain_GP An update on this, it basically never happened because the NTA delayed ticketing machine to @Wcorkconnect and they gave up providing a service in the end. A lot of effort by myself and @Marcoriain and others for nothing!

I gave this paper at a conference in Helsinki dedicated to lament with the @Kyynelkanavat project @UniEastFinland. A fascinating few days of hearing about lament practices old and re-imagined from around the world. My PhD focuses on the re-imagining of Irish lament #keening
