I went to Strong Hospital ER w/a family member. There were no less than 150 people waiting to be seen. Not one available seat. Inside the actual ER there were bodies on stretchers EVERYWHERE! They had people lined up against walls, every nook and cranny had someone on a bed and every possible room was filled, even utility rooms. Once taken to the back it took 2 hours before anyone even acknowledged us. The staff was rude & uncaring. I sat and watched a male nurse sit on his phone w/other staff members sports gambling- all while an elderly patient needed help with something as simple as being unhooked to go to the bathroom.

This is the United States of America and our healthcare system is third world fucking garbage.

And I won’t even talk about how many foreigners, in every possible position, work at the U of R.
