Is McKee administration trying to sink a bill to ban bid-rigging in wake of ILO investigation?
Looks like it in the wake of efforts by key staffer last Friday to get sponsor(s) to back off:

If he’s not there, why should any other senator be there? I applaud Sen. Ruggerio for his long service to the state, but I have to wonder why he doesn’t just retire with dignity and go out on top.
Latest on Senate President Dominick Ruggerio: "He's feeling great'' after PT this morning. But he will not be at Senate session today "because we dont have much of a calendar,'' according to his spox, Greg Pare.
First the Kennedy Center, now this:

This is a wonderful, stunning video. Nice of Mike Y to participate so patiently and graciously. It is hard to envision his grandfather, at least post-retirement, being willing to put in the time involved.
Mike Yastrzemski, grandson of the great Carl Yastrzemski greets a 102 year old WW2 war veteran who after telling Mike how much he loved Carl, threw out the first pitch.
Best thing you’ll see today
As we used to say at the Journal: “Interesting - if true.” Does Trump really mean it or is it just more empty rhetoric? On the other hand, could this possibly be an early sign that there’s trouble in paradise? I’ve long thought that Trump&Musk eventually will have a big breakup.
NEWS: Trump abruptly assembled his cabinet today to let them know Elon MUSK is not in charge of hiring/firing -- they are.
It was an abrupt admonition that appeared aimed at the mounting legal scrutiny of Musk's power over the government.

Thanks for posting. This is outrageous. If Republicans have a problem with the Chamber, let them have the courage to show up and say so. By the way, I bet a lot of those business members vote GOP. Chamber President Laurie White goes out of her way to be accommodating.
