@British_Airways after 40 mins I managed to connect to a chat agent. They are clearly not equipped to deal with this, thus not any further forward! @HeathrowAirport you have some explaining to do!
So @British_Airways what are you doing about our baggage!? You was quick to inform us that there was an issue ahead of our arrival at LHR and that while out of your control you will do everything you can to assist. So what are you actually doing? WHERES MY LUGGAGE ???
@HeathrowAirport some advice. Doing some continuity planning and actually practice. It was clear that while we was at the airport you went into meltdown and just didnβt have a clue.
@British_Airways@British_Airways LHR T5 is your flagship terminal! So what measures should have been in place to better manage this situation. The entire situation is beyond acceptable.
And we are back on British soil π
Been a long couple days - getting from Tel Aviv, across to Jordan and finally out on a flight back home. So happy π
Best of luck to all others trying to escape Israel.
So, we will be making our way across the border to Jordan where we can catch a direct flight back to UK. And long before British repatriation response!! while we wait, we shall be sharing what joy is left with our Israeli cousins. Despite all, I have never felt such kindness.
The Foreign Office has decided to wake up I see! We have been trying to reach the British Embassy without success and in the days since the start of the war have only received one message and that was confirming our registration of presence in Israel. Useless.
