@Saawndruh In the articles I read this week, it seemed like covid was a huge factor. It pointed out where/what the digital divide looked like in the country. I just wonder how we can address/change how much more behind the children that were impacted by (1)

@GregSlavik@CommonSenseEd I totally agree. It doesn’t help for digital citizenship to be in the curriculum if those teaching it don’t know what it is. Supporting and giving the proper tools to educators is one of the first steps we need to take

@pbsteachers@WeAreTeachers My dissertation study focused on new games and virtual reality that can be used and treated as literature in the classroom. For me, digital literacy started with Oregon Trail and Spelling Jungle in Elementary School. I can relate!
