@plshelpmypony @beltwayannie @moonlighthalo@TVietor08@CREDOMobile I would rather give my business to an independent company that donates much of its proceeds to progressive causes (Credo) than any of the Goliaths, even if it does need to rent space on their network. It’s the least of all evils, which is directly to the OP’s point.
@plshelpmypony @beltwayannie @moonlighthalo@TVietor08@CREDOMobile Statement received from CREDO: “While we use the same towers, we are not owned by Verizon and never will be. We use pre-existing towers in order to offset our carbon foot print and not contribute to steel manufacturing pollution. It also allows us to provide good coverage.”
@plshelpmypony @beltwayannie @moonlighthalo@TVietor08@CREDOMobile My mistake! They changed their MVNO (didn’t on ours as we were BYOD). But they’re not owned by Verizon, just use their network. https://t.co/r9nJQx3SVB
@UriahSTP I believe that consolidation is necessary in order to spread the resources evenly, which is not happening now. Still painful and emotional, but necessary.
@plshelpmypony @beltwayannie @moonlighthalo@TVietor08@CREDOMobile Actually it’s the sprint network that they are carried on (common for smaller carriers). Working assets was the original name of the company that is now Credo.
@cryptocom How do you account for the negative climate impact brought on by mining for crypto? Personally I think the entire industry is a step in the wrong direction. Unless y’all are using solar power to drive your servers. (And you’re not)
