@hairyairey@WilliamJoy@wfaa I've had a baby. Pregnancy is calculated from the first day of your last period + 40 weeks. On average women ovulate 14 days after their period begins. But if you get pregnant those 2 weeks where you weren't pregnant are still counted.
Politicians sending plain clothes police to violently arrest journalists in their homes is not something we can accept in Australia.
This case will set a precedent. If you can be arrested for approaching a politician for comment on a story, what’s the point of press?
@hairyairey@WilliamJoy@wfaa Thanks for your input John but you're wrong. You're pregnant from implantation. There's no way to know if you've fertilised an egg until implantation, in fact a lot of fertilised eggs fail to thrive and do not even make it to implantation because they stopped growing.
@Godisgood1836@EvanM1214 @Tinaluboo @WilliamJoy@wfaa Just looking visually based off what my app said the embryo looked like at week 5, it was 10 or 11. And as for the look of my ultrasound, citation: my own eyes. I was at my ultrasound, I saw what it looked like visually. It looked like fluid filled sack on the ultrasound.
Retweeted about the heartbeat bill recently explaining how due dates are calculated/what this means for someone at the beginning of their pregnancy. Came back to see my notifications blown up with quite a few people saying I'm wrong. smh america sort out your sex ed shit.
@asfaloth_12@PLPercussionist I'm from Australia and I'm concerned too if you guys don't know I'm right lol. I gave birth this year so I know how this works. The first few weeks of what is medically considered to be your pregnancy you are not pregnant. They calculate from the first day of your last period.
@MrsJLovesJesus@WilliamJoy@wfaa 21 days after fertilisation is 5 weeks. At that point the heart is actually two channels called heart tubes. Not chambered yet. The neural tube is forming, part of this becomes the brain. The arm and leg buds are bumps on the embryo and the embryo looks like a tadpole.
@Godisgood1836@EvanM1214 @Tinaluboo @WilliamJoy@wfaa So I have a child. When I was 5 weeks along he was a black orb on an ultrasound, looked like a cyst. That's not a child. That's some tissue surrounded by protective fluid.
@imamoodtoo@bjbnole@colquinn8@WilliamJoy@wfaa Actually from fertilisation to implantation is 7-8 days. Ovulation happens 14 days after your period started, fertilisation happens within 24-48 hours of ovulation. You'd be around the 3 week mark at implantation.
@bjbnole@WilliamJoy@wfaa Your due date is calculated as 40 weeks from the first day of your last period. By the time you find out you're pregnant you'll be around 5 weeks give or take. Maybe earlier if lucky. It's how the Drs calculate things that make it classed this way.
@Godisgood1836@WilliamJoy@wfaa Lol I've had a baby before so I'm quite educated on how it works compared to some bible thumper. Your due date is 40 weeks from the first day of your last period. So when you're "1 week pregnant" you're still bleeding and not actually pregnant yet.
@bobbyberk My parents raised me to be homophobic. Which honestly delayed me realizing that I'm bisexual. Now that I'm a parent I'm gonna raise my kids to show respect and love for others. Happy they won't have to go through the things I did.
@jacksfilms#YIAYboss that one friend you haven't talked to in years who got reaaally into some multi level marketing shit and won't shut up about it now
Lake Highlands High School valedictorian Paxton Smith used her 3-minute speech to attack Texas’ new restrictive abortion law after making a last-minute speech switch.
It's now gone viral. Tonight on @wfaa, you'll get to hear from her about everything that's happened since.
