@SenSchumer I'm not sure which is worse, outright lying or being so misinformed about something that you do not know what you are saying is a lie. Either way, the wording of the original bill did not remove the requirements for background checks for rifles, shotguns or suppressors.

@gunpolicy With the number of people killed in accidents every year maybe cars and diving should be controlled like guns. Each state can decide if you can drive in that state regardless if you can drive in your state. Have the state decide what car you can own. Common sense indeed
