Love this feature in Zoom! This virtual snow day almost felt like we were in class together! Virtual day perk… meeting each others pets! ❤️#hayfam#virtualsnowday
READ-IN DAY! Started the day with hot chocolate, donuts, and winter concerts. Then read in our forts and listened to read alouds. Such a wonderful day! #haycocktradition https://t.co/tu83B7UpXb
We started #FirstChapterFriday today with one of my favorites… Cheese by Sarah Weeks! Oggie Cooder is a charving master from Wawatosa, WI. A TV show looking for unusual talents comes to town … does his charving set him apart from the competition? #love4thgrade#hayfam
This week we learned more characteristics of numbers. We used tiles to help help us determine factors of numbers and prime numbers! Look at these mathematicians! @haycockcougar#hayfam#primeorcomposite
4th grade had the opportunity to listen to a WW2 Veteran speak about his experience aboard the S.S. Leopoldville on Christmas Eve 1944. For his acts of bravery that night he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star of Valor. Thank you Mr. Plotkin for sharing your story with us!
Not quite the same seems to be the way things are these days. But dressing up for storybook character day for school made things a little closer to normal. #teacherlife
