@jidesanwoolu I’ll give you an example
Of what’s weird.Imagine someone that built a property in 2010 at 35m(now 200m).Collected rent all through. And as at now is extorting all tenants with an increase of 4-10-15m within 3years in quick succession.Tenants need more protection.
@jidesanwoolu i am not sure what can be done to regulate these things. But I think it’s a ticking time bomb. Landlords are cheating and bullying tenants. I’ll hopefully pay you a visit soon sir to further elaborate on these matters. But before then I just said I should report them
@jidesanwoolu I greet you for all the excellent work you’ve been doing. But sir I want to report all the landlords in Lagos to you. Especially the ones in lekki and vi. They’re extorting Nigerians. It’s getting way too much.
I genuinely would love to meet the person that first saw coke, sprite,Fanta and co and decided to call them “minerals”
I honestly just wanna know why and how ?
I changed Naira to Rands today and tears choke my eye. But it’s our reality rightnow and everyone is feeling it. Everyone in their own way. If I talk too much someone will say it’s from a position of privilege (people that don’t know how I came from oke aro/power line IYKYK)
How is it hard to convince my people to look inwards.
Bro there was a time when we bought more tees and foreign shit. But now everyone wears trad even to the club. It means we can actually get used to stuff that are made in Nigeria if we do with the complex in our minds.
I don’t give 2 Fs about who’s the captain of the ship/pilot of the plane/driver of the bus . But if I understand that there’s turbulence in the seas and in the skies and I know there are pot holes on the road, I won’t be out here chanting at the damn sailor/pilot/driver.
See guys. A wound only heals when you rip the bandaid off. It’s a painful period but it’s necessary for a wound to heal. You can’t keep covering shit up and expect healing. It ain’t gon work.
Apply this to everything economical and Nigerian rightnow.
I’ve never seen or heard of anything good that came easy.
How do I teach this to my fellow Nigerian citizen without them calling me names.
I think I’ll let us just continue in our supposed alternate reality(Delulu)
I’m seeing coordinated attack against religion especially Christianity.
I don’t know for sure what the end goal is. But I know if we have more people losing faith we will have more people being free minded enough for the devil to penetrate
Two things keep us grounded as Africans.
1. Culture/tradition dependent on tribe
2. Religion.
Sadly these two things have been used to divide us for years. Now this isn’t where I’m going.
We as a people have lost our tradition/ culture
