@FirstNameJ0hn I’ve wondered about that too. If I remember correctly, the reason was related to international TV deals. Many broadcasters only had contracts for one-hour episodes, so they split the show into two parts to make international distribution easier.
I’ve been searching for years for photos or videos from a WWF house show in Texas, January 1997, where Shawn Michaels wore gear never seen on TV.
Anyone have pics, footage or info? Please tag someone who might know!

WWE’s upcoming shows in France are a disaster waiting to happen. Empty seats guaranteed with insane ticket prices + a terrible date (the night before school starts). Their pricing policy kills casual interest. It could’ve been easy sold-outs, but poor management ruined it.

@Jvuc12 Je serai à Lyon 👊
Et je le dis depuis le début : date mal choisie, prix délirants… Les médias US en parlent déjà, les shows ne se vendent pas. Je ne suis pas visionnaire, mais si TKO ne change pas vite sa politique, ça va mal finir …
#WWEClash Here’s the problem..
US fans get PLEs on Saturday night.
French fans? Sunday… right before school starts. Kids can’t watch. Families can’t go.
With insane prices, you’ve priced out loyal fans. On Saturday with fair prices, arenas would already be sold out. Sad.
