Copying a video format to promote your app is not easy or guaranteed success

I recently found an app being copied

Every copycat remade the original video
But never as great as the original

There was some difference in details and rythm

This shows that the last 20% of improvements makes 80%

Don’t skip it

Our game idea got stolen months ago. I know who did it and I know why.

Turns out you can steal an idea but you can't steal the skill to make it good.

The only thing that worked was their paid marketing. And the more ads they ran, the more our wishlists went up.

So thanks for the free advertising.
