@ItsPlayful_ Idk why they EVER got rid of the card system after ranked games. Pretty sure 10 cards popped up and you got 1 of them. Usually it was a bronze/silver, but I got Machado in his prime worth 100k one time. Knowing that was possible always made playing online worth it.

I was a big Trevor Story supporter through his injuries. Then, this year… I became the opposite. I wanted him in a bench role in early June, if not DFA’ed.

Not like he’d ever care what I think. Regardless.. I bet his sons are thrilled to see their dad playing the game/profession he’s worked at his whole life.

I remember he would say in interviews that became one of the toughest parts of it. Wanting his son to see him play baseball, and not being able to do it.

……

I didn’t see this coming. I didn’t see him being one of the two most impactful contributors to the Boston Red Sox lineup in September.

I gave up on him. Trevor Story has made me look a fool, without a doubt.

He’s been excellent. Truly excellent. This Red Sox team is incredibly fortunate to have him.
