Farmer producing & eating white & yellow food-grade corn; busy cleaning up the planet breathing in high-octane ethanol-cleaned air & exhaling the CO2 to grow it
Low cost, high performance, domestically produced, renewable solutions to harmful exhaust emissions are currently available.
-These can be used in the liquid fuels engines that we currently own!
-No need to wait, and spend our dollars chasing inefficient, ineffective attempts.
@DavidKillins We have a 2024 JD C16F corn header that was involved in a collision accident. It would still be good for lots of parts or could be rebuilt.
At the same time Brazil has an 18% tariff on US #ethanol, taxpayers subsidized US imports of 400 million pounds of Brazilian tallow for biodiesel/RD in ‘23. We’re on pace to double that in ‘24. Seems fair, right?
Can we please stop using the term “zero emissions vehicle” (ZEV) for EVs? The only REAL ZEVs are those exclusively using zero-carbon fuels, which are few & far between. 86% of world’s energy still comes from fossil fuels & nukes. #ethanol
Interesting point…happens every spring!
Hoping to use the sun’s “solar power” to bring the world another great renewable crop used for feed, fuel, and fiber.
Also our livestock industry is working diligently and makes big investments to utilize our states natural resources!
What if the Dallas Cowboys built two stadiums in Nebraska and no one noticed?
Or you bought 250 million Runza combo meals with frings (I'll even throw in the ranch).
That's the scale of an investment happening right now.
$3.1 billion.
A most interesting fact.
10 of the top 12 companies in “profit per employee” involve “Energy”
How can PBF “blame” #ethanol for canceling jobs? …that is the best narrative that they can come up with?
Many energy companies are saying the RFS / E15 is going to ruin them🤦🏼♂️
Look who ranks #11 - PBF! Ahead of Apple, Pfizer, Microsoft & Meta. How much of that $798,000 profit per employee is being shared w/ union contractors who have been told they are going to lose their jobs at PBF because of E15 & the RFS? #ethanol
@SteveD75@RepAshleyHinson There is something different that causes you to experience any mileage difference between E10 and E15 💁♂️
Even up to E30, there ZERO proven statistical mileage difference.
NE state fleet usage demonstrated that. I can send you the UNL engineering department’s exec summary!
@clintwfischer Any good ideas coming to the surface on machinery transfer?
I’m not sure anyone wants to own machinery (economics are not as much fun as it seems) but someone has to own it…because you need it to get the farming done.💁♂️
I never dreamed I’d be the old guy with the machines.🤦🏼♂️
Successful car companies make what the customer asks for!
EVs need to be hybrid FFVs
This would check many boxes for the goals consumers want.
This is not rocket surgery…💁♂️
It's real! @GM is bringing back the Flex Fuel Vehicle (FFV) with at least four vehicles confirmed with 50 state certification on a new engine. Last week you could even start configuring your new ride. More in the article. #E85#ethanol

Always good to meet with our US Senator @SenatorFischer.
She has been working tirelessly for NE agriculture and specifically renewable fuels #Ethanol
Year around #E15 is a win for everyone!
I just spoke with a friend a lifelong Chevy guy- who purchased his first Ford. Why?
He was able to get an E85 ethanol flex-fuel pickup from Ford.
It's time for GM to get back into the flex fuel market.
Support the companies that support you.@Ford@ChevyTrucks@GMC
Here’s how you instantly debunk #ethanol “land use change” argument in 1 chart! Since 1926, corn acres planted down -5% & corn production up 617%! Since 2000, ethanol production up 859%! More corn, more ethanol, less land. Let’s hope folks working on 40B GREET 4 SAF understand!
@clintwfischer Interesting zoom call yesterday!
A lot of opportunities are still available for investing off farm, but good advice from him.
He was born in 1928 and passed away in 2022, so he saw a lot. Farmed his first year picking corn by hand into a horse drawn wagon, but loved modern Ag!
Ford loses $4.5 billion dollars on EV's. If they had manufactured plug-in hybrids using flex fuel, everyone would have been a winner including Ford, their shareholders, the environment, the consumer, and the farmer.
Ethanol saves consumers at the pump, reduces our dependence on foreign oil, and creates American jobs. Enjoyed meeting with @NE_ethanol & other stakeholders to discuss my Flex Fuel Fairness Act.
Ethanol is a huge economic driver for Nebraska and increasing its availability & use would be a win for everyone. Thanks to KAAPA Ethanol for having me at your facility in Minden today.
