How is Mangum and his .465 average on the bench tonight?!? O’Hearn !?
The password is batting .126 over his past 10 games???

Meanwhile, not only did Don Kelly not use Carmen Mlodzinski in a close game, there was Evan Sisk available as well. He has been lights out and has a 1.44 ERA. He's only pitched 3 innings since May 19th.
Again Don Kelly has no clue how to manage a bullpen.
@Jason_Shetler But - if Kelly would be more concise with his bullpen decisions and likely pulling pitchers faster then perhaps their confidence is more context and not as pressed in each leveraged situation. Setting them for failure. All part of savant managing
@SNPittsburgh A good and seasoned manager figures out a better way to handle the pen and starting lineups. When we lose so many winnable and close games it makes the difference.
@ChrisMuellerPGH
Montgomery should’ve been out after the run. Who cares if you burn an arm early
Now it’s too late. Didn’t play to win.
They played for tomorrow.
“The story” of Don Kelly managing decisions and woes.
Lineups are always some plan for for something else
Don Kelly here's an idea:
Maybe if your Ace is struggling to go 5 innings & you need your bullpen to eat innings, why not use your long relief guy Carmen Mlodzinski who hasn't pitched in over a week? Who cares about tomorrow & the Jones start, he was sent to the pen for a reason

@DTonPirates But why not start mangum- batting .400 over his past 10 games?
Kelly needs to lock games down earlier with the best arms in the pen. Always waiting
