@Not_the_Bee It's hard too tell who shot him.
Regardless, active shooter, a cop killed next to her, the shooter behind a column in front of her, and suddenly a man surprises her coming from the direction of the shooter. She had a split second to make a decision.
I can't blame her.
They were definitely not the romanticized version. They could be brutal, ruthless and absolutely cruel. On the other hand, I can easily point out plenty of atrocities in the old world.
The mesoamerican had advanced city planning and agriculture , vast amounts of roads, fortifications and trade networks. They discovered zero, written language, advanced astronomy, mathematics, engineering and had a 80-90%'survival rate with head surgery (us revolution had 50%). They have more pyramids than Egypt (with more being discovered thanks to LIDAR) and the largest pyramid in the world. They discovered the wheel, but it was impractical due to the terrain and limited domesticated animals to pull. This is what we know of, and they likely had far more, the Spanish destroyed virtually all of there written documents with only a few written codexes surviving.
US North America has at least Cohakia (I currently can't prove it , but it likely wasn't the first or only major city in the US), trade networks, road systems, advance agricultural (3 sisters) and many other inventions.
As mentioned, the US natives were decimated before the British arrived, so you likely had technological and cultural regression with many practices and stories lost.
The only reason the Spanish conquered Tenochtitlan was due the severe population loss, and the military command was basically decapitated due to the pandemic.
Government, elite, media, social workers.... Nail them all to the cross.
UK Legal Framework (Simplified)
Aiding and abetting (Accessories and Abettors Act 1861, s.8): Anyone who aids, abets, counsels, or procures an indictable offense (like rape, child sexual exploitation under the Sexual Offences Act 2003) can be tried and punished as a principal offender. This requires knowledge of the crime and intentional assistance or encouragement.f4a785
Accessory after the fact: Helping conceal the crime or help perpetrators evade justice after it occurs.
Specific to child exploitation: Offenses like arranging/facilitating sexual exploitation of a child (Sexual Offences Act 2003, ss.48-50), or failing in safeguarding duties.
Misconduct in public office: A common-law offense for public officials (police, social workers, prosecutors, council staff) who wilfully neglect duties or act corruptly, causing foreseeable harm. This has been discussed in these scandals but rarely leads to charges against seniors.9584c6
Two completely different magnitudes. One was facilitated by sick pervs in a small group with there higher ups covering for it. And I agree, there were likely more, but this has limited scope.
What's going on in the UK is a continuence of decades of the elite/government officials facilitating child trafficking/rape. Now add Pakistani/Afhgan child trafficcing/rape en masse. All the UK groups have the government, media, and law enforcement covering it up, ignoring it, and hiding/destroying evidence which likely meets the definition of accessory to a crime.
Think of it like this, Europe has thousands of years of ruins, castles and other various sites.
The US has wide open space, huge markets where you can buy almost anything (Bass Pro, Buccees), and everything is just bigger.
We see it every day, but for someone who has never experienced it, it can be awe inspiring.
@iamAtheistGirl@FreddyLA7 Ignore her, her account is based in Europe.
A group of Germans have gone viral and wildly popular as they tour the American South. No one cares if they are right or left, they're having a good time.
Let them enjoy the hospitality and the sites. Keep politics out of this.
@Arkypatriot Whataburger is a shadow of what it used to be. 30 years ago the burgers were twice as big as they are now. The burgers slowly shrank. Once they were bought out about 10 years ago, it went into full decline to where it is today.
Arrest both of them.
A man has a right to defend himself or use proportional force when assaulted. With proportional force, men are stronger, so the law understands that the force will be greater.
She hit him with a light to moderate hit first. He went all out. Both were in the wrong.
I've dealt with gypsies many times. They are scum of the earth. They will get an apartment, refuse to pay rent, steal every knob, cabinet door, shower head and leave the place bare. They go into grocery stores, young and old, pop open energy drinks, steal meat, cigarettes, beer and literally anything and everything. They constantly scam people out of there money, usually the elderly. More than once we've kicked them off retail property for offering blow jobs for gas money, at the gas stations.
They want higher taxation on the wealthy and companies, lower prices on necessities, lower costs on bills more social policy programs, more green energy.
The same crap they are advocating for caused this mess in the first place: the wealthy and companies are already taxed heavily (the wealthy move, and companies raise the prices of there services) social policies take large portions of the budgets, higher wages causes companies to increase cost and cut employee hours, green energy cranked up the costs of energy prices.
And there money redistribution scheme, it may decrease poverty, but it acts as a massive drag for the entire middle class, who have there money redistributed to the poor and have far less income coming in.
Meanwhile the middle class is taxed heavily to pay for this mess.
