Jews in the first century commonly observed the Torah, although the precise details of how they interpreted the Torah differed among Jews.

The claim that “rabbinic Judaism” was already the norm in the early first century CE, and that “Jesus lived and taught as a Rabbinic Jew of his time,” is one I strongly disagree with.

In his report about the Romans’ triumphal procession celebrating their victory over the Judean revolt, Josephus described how the Temple’s treasures and vessels were paraded through Rome. The last of the Temple’s spoils to be carried out—seemingly the climax of the entire parade—was a Torah scroll (“the law of the Jews”).

The Arch of Titus shows the Temple’s menorah and golden table from the parade, but, for some reason, not the highlight of the spoils—the Torah scroll.

Josephus says that the Temple’s golden treasures were later displayed in Vespasian’s Temple of Peace (Templum Pacis). The Torah scroll, as the most important of the spoils, was held in the imperial palace itself, probably on the Palatine Hill (pictured here).

Several rabbinic sources speak of a “scroll of the [Temple] courtyard” (sēfer hāʿăzārâ), which served as a master copy for other Torah scrolls. It seems likely that the scroll described by Josephus and the one mentioned by the rabbis were one and the same.

Emanuel Tov has documented a striking “virtual lack of differences” between copies of Torah manuscripts found among the Dead Sea Scrolls that he classified as “Proto-Masoretic.” He hypothesized that this consistency may be explained by the Temple’s master copy having been used to correct other scrolls.

Needless to say, the Torah scroll looted by the Romans and stored in Vespasian's imperial palace has long since vanished. But if Tov is right, its direct descendants live on today in Torah scrolls, ḥumashim, and Bibles throughout the world.

The New Jerusalem is a cube because the material universe is symbolically represented by the square and the cube, and it has twelve doors for the twelve tribes because there are twelve constellation gates in which the Sun, the Moon, and the five visible planets rise and set.

It is golden because it is perfected, or because the alchemical process of purification is completed and the ore (the black cube) is transformed into gold (the golden cube).

It is the place where the purified souls will walk with God, just as Enoch walked with God, and the symbolism for Enoch is Metatron’s Cube. So the New Jerusalem represents the purified soul.

During the 40 days in the desert, Satan tempted Jesus by offering Him all the riches and kingdoms of the world, making Satan the ruler of material desires. Jesus refers to Satan as the ruler of this age; however, the modern Bible often translates the word Aeon as “world” instead of “age.” There are 12 ages during the Great Year, and currently we are going through a new order of the ages.

The word for “world” is Kosmos, which means the material world.

In the Book of Enoch, the Watchers are responsible for corrupting mankind and giving them knowledge of astronomy and weaponry.

They produced children with the daughters of men, resulting in the creation of the giant Nephilim. This belief was accepted in early Christianity, even by Irenaeus, the praised bishop known for opposing the Gnostic movement.

Just like Enoch, Elijah was taken to heaven alive; he never died. He was taken in a fiery whirlwind, which represents the passage of time. Everything in the universe moves in a circular pattern: the sun and the planets, the galaxies, even the heart pumping blood in vortices.

It is a symbolic representation of the soul passing through the 12 Aeons and the 4 ages, completing the evolution of the soul.

The Garden of Eden, where you can walk with God, is guarded by two Cherubim Angels with flaming swords.

Why are the Cherubim Angels described with four heads—a human, a bull, a lion, and an eagle? Because they symbolize the Great Year, and you can only pass through them if the soul has passed all the lessons of the material illusion and learned the knowledge of Good and Evil through acquired wisdom.

The size of New Jerusalem, which descends from Heaven after the Apocalypse, is 12,000 stadia on each side.

That equals roughly 1,380–1,500 miles (2,220–2,400 km) in length, width, and height. It would stretch roughly from New York to Texas or across much of Europe.

New Jerusalem is the dwelling place of God, the Lamb (Christ), angels, and the redeemed, transformed, and transfigured people of God.

The New Jerusalem is not a black cube like the current fallen state of the world, where the blackness represents the veil. It will be golden because it signifies the alchemical process of purifying the soul and turning ore into gold. It is the dwelling place of God, where Enoch also walks.

Here is a comparison of the size of New Jerusalem with North America, Europe, and Africa. Did you know that there is currently a project developed by humans to create a massive golden cube with the Tower of Babel inside?
