The things this administration is pushing for people with disabilities is NOT okay. We deserve to live in our homes while getting support from key agencies to give us the freedom every able bodied person experiences.
At the risk of being so blunt our president is actively showing mental decline right before our eyes but no one is sending him to an institution to get checked out. Instead we’re naming things after him to boost his bruised ego.
Imagine Trump ever being invited to join a photo like this — not in a million years.
Four presidents. Zero drama. Just smiles, respect, and a shared love of country. 🇺🇸
The dad who took his daughters to the WOMANS restroom but made sure there were NO women inside of there before entering, and did exactly what he was suppose to do. If you can’t respect a dad protecting his children then something is really wrong with you!
You shouldn’t have to earn your place in a community that claims to be inclusive. And how people treat those who can’t offer them anything says a lot more than how they treat those who can.
There are still spaces out there where you don’t have to shrink yourself to fit in.
One thing I’ve learned from being in online communities is that they don’t always stay the way they started.
Sometimes spaces that were inclusive and supportive slowly shift into something more centered around status, skill level, or who people can benefit from being around.
And when that happens, the people who helped build that space can end up feeling pushed aside.
If you ever start to feel like you have to prove your worth to belong somewhere that once felt welcoming, pay attention to that. That kind of shift doesn’t come out of nowhere.
@2fixed2care@DeadbyDaylight That’s what I’ve been saying. I’m literally out here not being able to play with my friends because I’m the one switch player.
Appointments aren’t even full—the system just won’t allow it. Disabled people shouldn’t have to plan days or weeks ahead just to get to school, work, or healthcare. This policy leaves people stranded. Please fix it.
@LinkTransitNC You need to do better with ParaLink. Disabled riders don’t have the luxury of waiting at bus stops—we rely on this system. Blocking rides the day before an appointment because of a 24hr rule is ridiculous.
