@welovesweetboy_ Only a king could legitimize bastards. He had to ask Tommen. The Crown was indebted to the Boltons for the Red Wedding. This was a favor called in. Rhaenyra’s paranoid that legitimizing bastards could politically backfire given the questioned legitimacy of her heir Joffrey.
@POPin4k In the show they also believe that Sheepstealer has been claimed by The Greens. Since this is the case it’s only logical to keep Tessarion secured so that he can’t be claimed by anyone else. It makes no sense whatsoever for Daemon, who has a tactical mind, to not subdue Tess.
@POPin4k There are so many things that don’t make sense with this. Why not also take Tessarion into custody? They could at the very least keep him in the Dragonpit, if not prepare another dragonseed to claim him.
@Biancastarr19@ThronesUpdates Wahhh. She has a kingdom to run, and not only that she has to show herself as strong as a man in order to be accepted. She can’t afford to be emotional at any point yet she continues to fail that test.
@Ali_lulu73@HubPointless Targaryens think they can do what they want, even kind, gentle Rhaegar who thought he could steal another’s betrothed even though he was already married with two kids.
@evanphillips45@neontaster However so far they’ve proved all of the ‘sexist’ critics of Rhaenyra right by showing her weak in the exact ways they criticize women to be. On top of that no one in her court respects her, including her son, and she does nothing to punish any of them for defying her.
@evanphillips45@neontaster Yes, she’s terrible, but they fucked up with the first 2 seasons. Instead of making her vindictive, compulsive, and bloodthirsty they’re making her whiny, emotional, and indecisive. It doesn’t work because they leaned hard into the resistance of her rise was due to sexism. (1/2)
@lemontiter@rkitchencels The landlord can probably find someone for that apartment very quick, and likely a less disgusting tenant than OP probably is.
