Students in Ms. Odom’s class have the option of either using a t-chart or Venn diagram to compare and contrast their observations of a traditional fairytale to the fragmented version.
Mr. Adkins’ class using a parking lot model to reflect on learning throughout the class. Students also used technology as part of a station rotation model, demonstrating the teacher’s ability to personalize learning.
4th Grade students use Gallon Kindom as they work in stations. Students demonstrate progress towards mastery of their objective: to use models to compare customary units of liquid volume.

One of the things admissions officers pay attention to, besides GPA, is course selection throughout HS and especially senior year. They like to see students have momentum going into the freshman year. If you sit back your senior year, it's hard to recapture that momentum.
Last week we applied our frisbee cues (point, cross, step, flick) to game situation and kept our own scores while working in small groups. Frisbee golf was a hit!
Daniel Boone and David Crockett High Schools now have 51 students with an ACT score of 30 or higher. That's nearly quadruple the number of only two years ago!!
Building on the skills that we learned last week and making our tasks a little bit harder! Today we got to throw our frisbees at virtual, moving targets which were floating sports emojis! 🏀⚾️🎾🏈
