The NHS is losing 15% of physiotherapy staff each year.
We're calling for the government to urgently address recruitment and retention of physiotherapy staff by committing to a fully funded workforce plan now.
Value physiotherapy staff.

Really worried that I won’t have as many skills as previous cohorts when I qualify and start as a band 5. I’ve had amazing experiences on placement but the chance to get hands on clinical skills has been reduced due to the impact covid has had on placements.
Being a sportsman I was previously very naive about the scope of a physiotherapist’s work. I only knew about physio’s who worked with athletes and did not know they worked in hospitals and had tracheostomy training. Here the therapist is performing chest therapy on me. (1/3)
Dear @DailyMailUK
Perhaps you’d like to actually meet the dietitians, physios & other ‘non-essential NHS staff’ you refer to - who are in fact essential & frontline throughout the pandemic 🙄😡
