@macastel3 Labor cost is low but also have to consider population density. The repair guy probably only needed 5 minutes to get there by scooter or very small van. In the west it can easily be a 30 minute drive in a $50,000 pickup truck, both ways.

@karuna_murti @CarlZha yes, it can mean both rice or meals, but from the context talking about お茶漬け, it seems to me they mean white rice, not meal. I probably would have said 中国のお米がおいしい, but I’m only fluent in Japanese, not a native speaker, so I might be wrong.
