I sympathize with where you’re coming from in general, but lawlessness is not a conservative value; it is however, at the heart of leftism/“progressivism.”
Ever since the summer of 2020, when police began to be demonized and then openly defied, we have witnessed not only a significant rise in crime but in particular an extreme increase in just outright lawlessness. Juveniles in particular got the message loud and clear that it was now OK to defy the law and law enforcement. And one of the ways they’ve taken advantage is by thumbing their noses at society and rules by doing things like engaging in “street takeovers.”
The older kids and 20-somethings do this by street racing and taking over intersections, often with stolen cars. The younger kids do it with E-bikes, gas powered motorcycles, and ATVs by riding in packs down the street. In both cases the objective is to force law-abiding citizens to yield to their antics, and to demonstrate that no one can do anything to them.
In the most serious cases, this new leftist-inspired lawlessness has led to random shootings. Just driving around and shooting into houses or at vehicles in traffic. That particular corner of this crime wave has been more restricted to a certain demographic.
Shrugging your shoulders or trying to justify this behavior just plays right into the hands of the leftists, who don’t even believe we should have police or prisons.
It’s not just in the Old Testament. The parable of the watcher on the wall in Romans says that if the watcher (someone tasked with protecting the innocent) sees an evildoer approaching and does nothing to stop him, then the blood of the evildoers’ innocent victims is on his head AND on the head of the watcher who allowed him in.
In other words, if you have the opportunity to prevent evil people from preying on the innocent and you do nothing to stop them, you’re as responsible for their crimes as they are. EVERY politician, whether in Europe or in the U.S. who facilitates a foreign invasion of their country under the banner of “diversity” should be punished right alongside the perpetrators for the crimes of the rapists and murderers who they allow in.
@clerpatriot@nicksortor The Left also claims to care about women, yet embraces Muslims and “transgender” freaks. The Left has no principles, only situational tactics.
The propaganda that these are “protestors” is laughable. They are anti-American militants in open rebellion against this country. They should be declared unlawful combatants, and the military should be brought in to kill them.
Other than these animals not being formally connected to individual states, Trump should follow the same process that the Union followed during the Civil War to declare the Confederate states in rebellion and use the military to destroy them. And the wealthy leftists funding this crap must be captured and imprisoned, and any foreign state actors involved, if there are any, should be held accountable…kinetically if necessary.
This must stop.
I think the unprecedented reliability of Falcon 9 has made a lot of people complacent, forgetting how difficult it was to reach this point.
I hope that the SpaceX and Tesla engineering teams are inspiring the younger generation to aim high and push through the inevitable challenges. That mindset has now delivered things we thought were only science fiction, like propulsive rocket landings and self-driving cars. But it’s also a mindset that delivers more resilient people in general, and that is its greatest benefit.
@IslamInvasion I meant to say that the Biblical description of the antichrist tracks word for word with the koran’s description of the islamic “savior”, the mahdi.
Islam is so obviously a demonically-inspired ideology, inspired for the purpose of opposing the true God and to attempt to either subjugate or kill as many who follow the true God as possible.
The characteristics the koran mentions to describe the islamic “savior”, the mahdi, are mentioned identically, virtually word for word, in Biblical prophecy, written long before the koran. And it is so obvious that islam’s militaristic nature, in which its followers are ordered to convert or kill all non-muslims, as well as how oppressive it is even to its followers, is a devious design intended to ultimately deceive as many as possible, keeping them from the truth, and to destroy those who will not submit to its evil.
It must be erased from the Earth, and while it is unlikely humans can accomplish that, God most certainly will in due time.
And I should have pointed out that your photo specifically is showing contrails that have begun to spawn cirrus clouds (which are composed of ice crystals), due to the right relative humidity at that altitude and stable atmospheric conditions. Some days contrails disappear almost as fast as the aircraft produces them (due to flying through very dry air), sometimes they linger (more humid air), and sometimes they linger and spread as shown (humid air + very stable atmospherics).
Incidentally, I’ve seen “chemtrail” conspiracy theorists also mention “oily-looking rainbows in the sky” as another supposed “proof” of something nefarious going on. Those are nothing more than “sundogs”, which are just rainbows that appear high in the sky instead of along the horizon, due to sunlight passing through the ice crystals in cirrus clouds. Because of the different angle compared to a more common rainbow, you usually can see the complete circle, rather than just part of it.
What, water vapor? Contrails are nothing new, they’ve been in the sky since before the jet age (WWII bombers produced them, as easily seen in numerous films from the war). There are more contrails today, thanks to much greater numbers of commercial flights driven by a rapid uptick in airline passengers, but the fact that contrails are there at all is nothing new. And as for the other components of this ridiculous conspiracy theory, such as that “real” contrails disappear immediately while “chemtrails” linger long after the jet passes, that is pure nonsense, too. How long contrails persist, or whether they spread out or spawn denser clouds layers have entirely to do with what the relative humidity happens to be at that moment in the stratosphere.
Every photo i’ve ever seen of an aircraft allegedly “spraying chemtrails” showed nothing more than a garden variety commercial airliner producing perfectly normal contrails. Obsession produces hysteria which produces wild theories about what is causing the perceived, yet non-existent “problem.” If you don’t believe me, just do some brief online research by googling “contrails” and any past year, 1950s, 1960s, whatever, and you will see photos that look just like what you’re showing above.
These are just contrails, nothing more than water vapor (clouds). And they’ve been there all along, even before the jet age. Have you ever seen film of formations of WWII bombers flying at high altitude with contrails streaming behind them? They weren’t even jets, and yet their engines produced them as well.
The only thing that HAS changed in recent years is a dramatic increase in the number of people flying, and consequently, the number of commercial flights. THAT is why you notice more contrails today, but the fact that contrails are there in the first place is nothing new at all.
As a lifelong pilot and professional in the aviation industry, I have to point out how absurd this “chemtrail” nonsense is. You’re seeing nothing more than normal, everyday contrails. In other words, water vapor. The fact that you’re obsessing about it has given you tunnel vision in which you now interpret things that were there all along as something “new” and “unprecedented.”
The same phenomenon has occurred with the “global warming” or “climate change” foolishness. Far too many people have been convinced by the relentless propaganda that phenomena they have experienced all their lives, such as monsoons, droughts, heat waves, hurricanes, etc. never happened before the use of “fossil fuels”, and are now accelerating in intensity. NONE of that is true, it’s just a false perception borne of obsession.
Whether alleged “chemtrails” or “extreme weather”, these are nothing more than examples of mass hysteria. Both are very similar to the 1954 windshield pitting hysteria that erupted in the Seattle area. Some residents in Bellingham noticed what they believed to be unusual pitting in their windshields. For some reason, local media picked this up and turned it into a story. Before long, this media coverage caused more residents to “discover” this allegedly unusual pitting, prompting wider media coverage, whereupon the hysteria spread to the Seattle area. Quickly, the pitting panic became widespread, with crazy theories appearing, including that the pits were being caused by exploding sand flea eggs, vandalism, hydrogen bomb fallout, or effects from a new million watt radio transmitter recently installed at the Jim Creek Naval Radio Station. The panic got so bad, with over 3,000 windshields reported as “damaged”, that public officials had no choice but to task the police and crime labs to get involved. Their conclusion?: The pitting that people were panicking about was due to nothing more than normal wear and tear from road debris.
What had happened was that because of the power of suggestion, large numbers of people had suddenly started looking AT their windshields instead of THROUGH them. This caused them to become convinced that something that had been there all along was instead new and unprecedented. Same with so-called “chemtrails” and same with alleged “extreme weather.”
I just purchased a 2026 Model Y, my first ever Tesla. I never thought in a million years I would want an EV, but the rapid advancement of FSD hooked me, and now that I’ve actually used it for a while I can say that it’s truly revolutionary, and that’s an understatement. While not yet perfect, it is mind blowing and my trust level in it now is extremely high. In fact, I actually trust it overall more than I trust my own driving, and I’m a good driver.
The use cases for this technology are endless. Enabling elderly drivers who no longer desire, or no longer can drive to remain independent is just the first of many uses for FSD as it exists now, and for the upcoming un-supervised version.
And aside from the obvious technological star that FSD is, the car otherwise is spectacularly well thought-out, and is an engineering and technological marvel.
I don’t think Minnesota dems failed to see what was happening. On the contrary, they knew it was happening, because they encouraged it as they encourage any behavior that is destructive to the United States. Turning their heads while third-world Somalis committed massive fraud was also likely one of the ways they rewarded them for voting solidly democrat. I have no doubt they sent word back to Somalia to let them know of all the “wonders” of “free stuff” they can have if they simply flood into the U.S., legally or illegally, and no assimilation required.
That’s how the dem fraud/patronage system works. It’s traitorous, literally selling out their country for their own selfish gain. Another word would be “evil.”
The rapid evolution of the heat shield has been possibly the single most impressive part of the Starship development program to date. From flaps burning through and tiles coming off to yesterday’s essentially drama-free re-entry in such a short time is very impressive and encouraging.
