Election Prayer Series: 11/2/20 - PRAY FOR UNITY
Philippians 2: 3-4
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
In God's name we pray for safety, comfort and peace of those affected by Zeta. For the skilled men and women working to remove downed trees & debris, repair powerlines and assist those in need. May God watch over you as you braveweather conditions & hazards to serve others. Amen.
Join us in prayer for those already affected by the winds and rains of Hurricane Zeta in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, as well as those in the storm’s strengthening path toward the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Election Series: PRAY FOR THE CANDIDATES
James 3: 17-18
God, we pray for the candidates who desire to serve in our government. May those seeking election commit to the common good and encourage a peace so that our nation may be faithful to liberty and justice for all. Amen.
#PrayfortheNation
Lord, we face uncertain times. We ask you to dwell among us. We trust our nation to Your care. Send Your Spirit to the hearts of our leaders. Give them wisdom and courage to do what is right. Guide us that we may impact the world around us in Your name. Amen.
