The FM says in her @BBClauraK interview that since 2018, teachers have had more than 20% increase in their salary.
Wrong.
Since 2018, teachers received a 13% uplift (2018-21), and a 2.2% uplift in 2021-22. No uplift has been paid in 2022-23.
It is disappointing, though not surprising, that no new offer was presented today, despite some progress in discussions. The union side remains willing to talk, at any time, with a view to reaching a resolution to this dispute. #PayAttention#EISStrike
