Dinka n Murle are not enemies so does Bari n Mundari, Nuer n Chollo, Acholi and Madi, Azande n Balanda, Toposa n Otuho, Kuku n Kakwa, Jie n Anyuak, Moru n Avokaya, etc. They're all brothers in a hut called #SouthSudan. Not politicians, we, the people, must discover this ourselves.

[Makwei Achol Thiong @MckweiAchol]

There is time for everything. Legends also retire. #ChristianoRonaldo must accept this reality. Portugal must move on.

Today, I graced the swearing-in ceremony of the SPLM Youth League leadership of Bor Municipal Council. I encouraged the new team to take the SPLM’s vision, mission, and objectives to the grassroots and to uphold unity within the structures as the country prepares for elections.

[Makwei Achol Thiong @MckweiAchol]

A valuable engagement with the chiefs of Bor Municipal blocks. I appreciate the opportunity to listen, exchange views, and discuss matters of shared interest and community development.

[Makwei Achol Thiong @MckweiAchol]

This morning, I had the opportunity to meet with Prof. Alier Maker, Vice Chancellor of Rumbek University of Science & Technology (RUST). We exchanged views on the important role public universities play in building a stronger #SouthSudan

[Makwei Achol Thiong @MckweiAchol]

Our height (tallness) is a blessing. In the future we could even select a matchday team of 11 tall #Football players and instead of playing the ball down, we could play it in the air, suffocate short opposition teams and win trophies with headed goals.
