This was 3 years ago. J6ers being accused of being Christian Nationalists and killing cops. If you have any doubts about who to vote for in Texas, please listen.
Thank you, @EagleEdMartin for remembering what the Sixers lived through and highlighting Kelly’s story.
Imagine the Biden DOJ hunting you down and putting both a husband and wife behind bars. Kelly and Connie Meggs were devastated by Merrick Garland’s DOJ. I spoke with Connie Meggs many a day and night as she was separated from her husband and had to deal with the impending loss of her own freedom. Both Kelly and Connie Meggs were in prison at the same time while their children and grandchildren had to navigate the fight for their parent's freedom. Sadly, they were not the only couple who endured this.
Tara and Dale Shalvey’s family was torn apart. Imagine burying your child, then giving birth to your rainbow baby girl, only to be ripped away from your newborn. How do you ever recover from that?
Almost every story stemming from January 6 is heartbreaking. Behind every name is a family, and behind every family are losses a pardon alone cannot repair.
We are grateful to President Trump for prioritizing their release. But so many Sixers and their families remain in peril today.
The pardons were not enough. There must be restitution and compensation for the significant losses they suffered.
Their freedom mattered but so do their families, their futures, and everything they lost.
Why have the media and journalists who once spent every single day covering the fallout from January 6 stopped talking to the Sixers and reporting on how shattered their lives still are? Their stories didn’t end with the pardons.
Ed, can’t thank you enough for remembering them and continuing to tell their stories.

While I am disgusted at the @GOP as a whole for failing to bring accountability for the weaponization of government, I will be voting for @KenPaxtonTX.
Paxton spoke at the January 6 rally, and was the only state AG who refused to condemn J6rs.
He has earned my vote. 🫡🇺🇸
Ed is one of the few people who will keep reminding America what we all lived through from 2020 thru 2024. Ed knows too many people seem ready to move on and pretend we didn’t see what we saw—not Ed Martin.
Ed and I watched people lose their jobs, their freedom, and years with their children. Those experiences don’t disappear just because the headlines change. Many are still struggling today. I lived it alongside families whose lives were turned upside down. My own family was targeted and was locked away for years for nothing.
We need voices willing to keep asking the hard questions and saying the things others would rather we forget. That’s why I’m excited about Ed’s new show, “Name and Shame.” The name alone tells you he isn’t planning to tiptoe around anyone!
November 3 matters. Choose wisely, America. There is even more at stake in the future.
Follow Ed “Early Bird” Martin—and grab your popcorn! 🍿🇺🇸

“They were gleefully targeting people.”
At Strength of America, Ed Martin goes after the federal prosecutors who deliberately target Americans.
Hear the families. Examine the evidence. Demand accountability.
This is why Weaponization Watch exists.

“Sometimes we have to hold each other up. Sometimes we have to be held up.”
At Strength of America, Ed Martin spoke to the heart of Weaponization Watch’s mission: standing beside people and families who have faced government abuse.
Shoulder to shoulder. Never waver.
@EagleEdMartin
Former Illinois state Governor Rod Blagojevich spent nearly eight years in prison. He suffered and so did his wife and kids.
But now FBI records show the sickening extent that Obama's weaponized DOJ used to go after Blagojevich.
So while a pardon restored his rights, it doesn't erase the weaponization he faced. Nor does it restore all of those lost years.

“Worries me deeply the direction we’re heading.”
Cynthia Hughes responds to Nick Shirley’s account of AB 2624, or the "Stop Nick Shirley Act," and what it means for not only his investigative work, but countless others.
Who holds government accountable when citizens say they’re being targeted?

You don’t have to believe Elizabeth Hernandez is innocent to believe she deserved a fair trial.
The appeals court found an abuse of discretion but upheld her conviction, an that matters.
Convicted Americans still have rights and still deserve a fair trial.

“This weaponization has affected me and my family personally, and thousands of my patients.”
Convicted in federal court and seeking clemency, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar shares his story of extreme federal weaponization and explains why he’s asking for a presidential pardon.

A conviction is not a shield against scrutiny.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar received a 20-year sentence from a federal investigation that the state had already closed.
Cynthia Hughes examines Dr. Sanjeev Kumar’s case, the government’s restitution filing, and the questions Weaponization Watch refuses to ignore.

Elizabeth Hernandez is serving 20 years in federal prison following a healthcare-fraud conviction. Her family maintains that she was an unknowing participant, and they haven't stopped fighting to bring her home.
Their concerns about the process aren't limited to allegations. On appeal, the Eleventh Circuit found that the trial court abused its discretion by giving prosecutors more time for closing arguments than Elizabeth's defense.
The court ultimately deemed the error harmless and still upheld her conviction.
Elizabeth's sister explains what weaponization means to their family, how the fight has consumed their lives, and why finding Weaponization Watch showed them they weren't fighting alone.
“Our voices together can make so much more of an impact than our voices by themselves.”

“We need more Nick Shirley's to rise up.”
Cynthia Hughes calls for Americans to stand behind those like Shirley who are “speaking up for people that have lost their voice.”
That’s the heart of Weaponization Watch: standing with families, sharing their stories, and refusing to let them be forgotten.
