As global tensions escalate toward the prospect of a third world war, our nation remains critically unprepared. The absence of strategic planning and our heavy dependence on imports place us in a dangerously vulnerable position, risking profound national hardship and instability.
I offer my deepest condolences to the families and communities affected by the tragic loss of Somali youth at sea during their attempted migration to Algeria and Spain. This recurring tragedy underscores the immense suffering endured by the Somali people.
I attended the IGAD 43rd Extraordinary Virtual Assembly on South Sudan today. Somalia unequivocally calls for immediate cessation of hostilities, de-escalation and a return to dialogue. Peace and stability must be prioritised to safeguard the future of the South Sudanese people.
James Woods has already said he would like Gaza to be completely burned and razed to the ground. Today, he gave a tearful interview after his house and city were destroyed by fire. If Nabsi used to be late, this man caught him quickly, and he knows there is a more powerful Allah.
I extend my congratulations to @MohamedAliSiad on his appointment as chairperson of the Somali National Youth. His dedication to serving young and vulnerable people is commendable. I am confident this new role will foster progress, unity, and success for Somali youth.
I extend my congratulations to the Somali people on the momentous occasion of our return to a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council after 50 years. This achievement will allow us to make significant contributions to the advancement of our nation and the EAC.
On behalf of the student body, I offer our sincerest congratulations on SIMAD University's 25th anniversary. It is a privilege to be affiliated with this prestigious institution, and we look forward to its continued success and growth in the future.
If Ethiopia gains access to the Red Sea, it will be a situation similar to Israel's actions in Palestine. President Hassan Sheikh wants to leave behind a dark legacy in Somalia.
Number of SMEs closing in Mogadishu these days really worries me. Growth of economy waxa laga arka when SMEs are flourishing and creating jobs. SMEs decline = economy declining.
The seismic research vessel ORIC REIS has arrived safely in Somalia. The outcomes of its 3D seismic survey will be advantageous to our country. Somalia welcomes investment opportunities.

Dear Rashid,
That is not true. Here is what I know and can share with you.
1. Someone by the name of Ina Aidarus was sent to Hargeisa some time in early December and met with Bihi on general diplomatic issues. Aidarus is of Somali origon from the Nogob region. He is touted to be a potential replacement of Mustafe Omer.
2. Prior to that, Hassan Shiekh Mohamoud and Abiy Ahmed met about three times and in all occasions, Abiy put on the table outlandish requests.
3. Hassan told him that Somali ports are open to Ethiopia only if legally sound request is presented to the GOVERNMENT of Somalia. SFG consists of the executive and legislative bodies. No shenanigan deals are to be entertained by the SFG is what Hassan told Abiy.
4. Somalia, according to Villa Somalia, is more than happy to collaborate and entertain all legitimate proposals from neighbors and other interested governments. But that has to be within national and international rules.
5. In their last meeting in Jeddah about three months ago, Hassan shut the doors to Abiy's infantile demand of "Give me a port!" To that, Hassan gave him a resounding "NO," Somali ports are not for sale is what Hassan told him. After that meeting, communication broke down. It was only during the Djibouti meeting between Somaliland and Mogadishu that Muse was given the trappings of phantom recognition proposal to which he could not say no.
6. Since the MOU was signed, a desperate Addis called Mogadishu multiple times but no one picked up the phone.
Here is what Somalia is saying: All Ethiopians are our brothers and sisters, and with the right leadership, Somalia can forge and foster mutually beneficial cooperation.
Ethiopia needs Somalia and Somalia needs Ethiopia, but Somalia does not need Abiy's extraterritorial way of doing business. The question is whether Ethiopians need Abiy's leadership!
Kuwii shalay Abiy u sacab tumayey ayaa maanta ugu orad dheer. Ha la hubsado oo ha la iska baadho.
Fiiri gaar ah: igama aha in aan taageerayaashii Maxamed Cabdilahi Farmajo dhaliilayo. Dhawr shaqsi oo Abiy u dhowaa dawlada Soomaaliyeedna aan ka tirsanayn ayaa ka wada.
Maanta cid kasta waa loo baahanyahay. Kaliya kuwa Addis ku xidhnaa ha laga taxadiro.
PM Abiy started courting TPLF. To what end? After 1 million deaths and thousands of Tigaru women being rapped and mutilated, not to mention famine caused by a deliberate siege around Tigray for over a year, PM Abiy wants TPLF to fight his dirty wars as did Asmara. How foolish could TPLF leaders be?
If not for principles, please at least protect young Tigaru from the vultures of Addis. Of all that happened, how could Addis think you could be his mercenaries? Too difficult to believe it. Both Amhara and Oromo elite denounced Abiy's MOU to a varying degrees. We have yet to see our Tigray brothers and sisters utter a word. Why so silent?
